Butterfly, Fairies and Flower Tattoos
I always thought that tattoos are a great way to mark big changes in peoples lives and now I really feel like having one. A tattoo draws a line in time between the time before and the time after so I really think is about time to get mine done. I have sooo many choices though...I am definitely lookinf for some unique tattoos. Well, I just love the way that Butterfly tattoos represent mystery, transformation and growth. Butterfly are graceful, feminine and beautiful. I think is amazing how the dramatic metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly can give them a special meaning. Maybe thats why the colors, shape and elegance of the butterfly make it a favorite tattoo design among women.
I made some research and learned that Fairy tattoos symbolize eternal youth, freedom, harmony with nature, beauty and mischief. Yeah, mischief. Don't cross a fairy on a bad day. A new school fairy (Tinkerbell or the like) would just probably turn you into a frog or zap you someway, but old-school fairies would basically just kill you lol...so you better be nice with The Fairy tattoos ladies fella! I like that!
Well, Flower tattoo designs can be elegant and feminine too. Many types of flower tattoos represent some kind of beauty. For example, the amaryllis, alyssum, calla, white camellia, burgundy rose, and stock flowers all mean basic beauty. The Hibiscus flower stands for delicate beauty while honeysuckle flowers represents a rustic type of beauty. Other popular flower tattoo designs are sunflowers, which represent adoration; daffodil flower tattoos, symbolizing regard; daisies, which represent innocence; jasmine, representing amiability; lilacs, symbolizing first love; white lilies, which mean purity and sweetness; lotus flower tattoos, meaning estranged love; and magnolia flower tattoos, referring to the love of nature.
